Town of Acton Veterans' Services has moved to it's new location at 30 Sudbury Road in Acton.

American Flag Retirement Ceremony

Wednesday, June 14th at 7pm, Wood Lawn Cemetery

Please join us on Flag Day for a flag retirement ceremony to properly dispose of worn out or unserviceable flags. If you have flags to dispose of but are unable to attend the ceremony, contact James MacRae, Acton Veterans’ Service Officer, at 978-929-6614 or vso@acton-ma.gov.

Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

Monday, May 29th, 10:00 A-B High school by way of Hayward Road, 11:00 at Woodlawn Cemetery

 

Acton Veterans’ Services, as well the Celebrations/Ceremonies Committee, invite you to observe this year’s Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies on Monday, May 29th. The parade will step off from the Acton-Boxborough High School at 10 am by way of Hayward Road.  The parade will march up Main Street and stop at the town common where an abbreviated ceremony will be held.  The parade will then continue down Concord Road and arrive at Woodlawn Cemetery, at which point the main ceremony will take place.  We sincerely hope you can attend this ceremony to honor our nation’s heroes.  Contact Veterans’ Service Officer, James MacRae, at 978-929-6614 for more info.  For any organizations that wish to participate please contact Gail Sawyer at 978-929-7730.
